Example projects

Three reporting problems. Three systems built around the work.

Each project started with a different body of evidence, set of professional decisions and required output. See the problem we mapped, the controls we kept and the workflow we built around them.

Fire complianceConfigured workflow

The project

Turn detailed fire-door survey data into a clear, reviewable report.

The reporting problem

Fire-door reporting brings together the project scope, structured survey records, supporting evidence and technical findings. The finished report needs to explain what was inspected, summarise the results and set out the required action clearly.

What had to stay in control

Trident’s established report structure, technical wording and professional review needed to remain intact. The system supports the report writer, but does not make the compliance judgement for them.

What we built

  • A template pack mapped to the sections and questions in the fire-door survey report
  • Inputs for project information, survey job sheets and supporting evidence
  • Evidence selection and draft wording organised around individual report questions
  • Editable answers and section-by-section review before the document is produced

How it works

  1. 01

    Collect

Bring together the project scope, survey records and supporting evidence.

  2. 02

    Structure

Match the relevant information to each report question.

  3. 03

    Review

Edit and approve the drafted sections one at a time.

  4. 04

    Produce

Place the reviewed content into the agreed Word report.

Finished output

A consistent fire-door survey report in the required Word structure, with the technical findings still reviewed and owned by the reporting team.

This example describes the configured reporting workflow. It does not claim a measured customer outcome.

UK accountingSpecialist application

The project

Prepare a source-linked workpaper before the accountant starts reviewing.

The reporting problem

Self-assessment records arrive through client uploads, inboxes and year-end document bundles. Accounting teams then spend valuable time sorting attachments, finding missing information, entering figures and checking every value against its source.

What had to stay in control

The accountant still needs to see the evidence, make tax treatment decisions, adjust figures and approve the work. The client experience also needs to work around how people actually send documents, not an idealised process.

What we built

  • Several routes for collecting client documents into one organised pack
  • Document classification and extraction of useful tax information
  • A consistent self-assessment workpaper with values linked to source evidence
  • Questions, adjustments and approval kept inside the accountant’s review process

How it works

  1. 01

    Collect

Receive uploads, bulk document drops and forwarded client emails.

  2. 02

    Prepare

Classify documents and organise extracted information by tax area.

  3. 03

    Check

Open the source beside each value and raise focused questions.

  4. 04

    Approve

Adjust and approve the workpaper before the next tax workflow step.

Finished output

A structured, source-linked self-assessment workpaper that gives the accountant a prepared starting point while keeping professional decisions in their hands.

Tax treatment, adjustments and final approval remain with the accountant.

Education and SENDSpecialist reporting workflow

The project

Turn complex evidence into locally formatted professional advice.

The reporting problem

Educational psychologists and SEND teams work through large evidence packs, assessment notes and different local-authority requirements. Too much professional time can be consumed digesting evidence, drafting report wording and formatting the final document.

What had to stay in control

Professional judgement must remain with the educational psychologist. Reports also need to follow the wording, structure, quality expectations and Word template used by the relevant local authority.

What we built

  • Evidence-pack summaries that help professionals find the important information
  • Local-authority report and audit templates configured around local practice
  • Guided section drafting with professional editing and review
  • Quality checks for gaps, repetition and evidence links before Word export

How it works

  1. 01

    Collect

Upload the assessment pack, professional notes and supporting evidence.

  2. 02

    Select

Choose the local-authority report or audit element required.

  3. 03

    Review

Draft, edit and approve each part using professional judgement.

  4. 04

    Produce

Run quality checks and export into the correct Word template.

Finished output

A reviewed report in the wording, structure and Word format the authority expects, ready for the professional and their team to complete and use.

The system supports evidence handling, drafting and quality checks. The reporting professional owns the judgement and final report.

Create capacity for more client work

Complete more cases without growing the reporting burden.

Reduce the time experts spend assembling repeatable reports while keeping review and professional judgement in their hands.
